'Not a great check-in experience, room had pulled up carpet and broken lamp (upgraded bungalow room) and was not worth the price we paid. Restaurants and Luau on-site were overpriced and underwhelming. The only upside was the manager Gretchen that helped us to move to a different room (lower priced), but better view. We didn't get any money back, but Gretchen was very nice and helped us out.'

'The front desk was great. When I arrived to check in I was immediately welcomed and taken care of as soon as I walked thru the doors. I even came thru the front desk office after a late tour and the person that checked me in greeted me - I felt like I was at home. Every person that was working in the property was so friendly and acknowledged you throughout the day. I don’t think I would stay anywhere else in Maui. I felt so safe here.'

'Best kept secret for Kaanapali beach resorts! Everything accessible with no elevators, crowds, or chaos. Free wi-fi, parking and best stretch of beach ever. Pool never crowded, plenty of chairs and unlimited towels at front desk. Free coffee 7am-11am. Stayed in Coconut Building and room had double queen beds and full stainless kitchen. 'Wow! I cannot wait to come back to this hotel. It really is a gem! Great staff, great amenities, great location! The only thing I was not a fan of was the birds all over. I wish they would put up signs to not feed the birds (similar to what we saw at Costco when we were there). The guests definitely make this problem worst, as the guests are the ones we saw consistently feeding them.'

'Pros: The unit! Cable TV like CNBC & Bloomberg, ice machine, pool noodles/snorkel gear, cantenes for day trips, high end kitchen applances and supplies, good mattress. Cons: Undisclosed fees I was asked to pay upon checkin even when I messaged hotel/mgmt/owner? on Expedia platform weeks before to doublecheck and was told no additional $! It should clearly state "pay at property $xx amount" like my other expedia bookings. Expedia resolved it after escalation.'

'The pools felt crowded and dirty by the afternoon. I also wish they would provide at least one room cleaning for the price. It felt very dirty and sandy by the end of the week. Otherwise the room was beautiful, the view was beautiful, the beach was perfect and some of the best snorkeling.'

'The room is very nice. They have large ceiling fans and AC. There is a large frig and a kitchen area to cook meals. FYI there is no TV. The view from the balcony of the ocean is amazing. There is a very nice sitting area on the balcony to enjoy the ocean and fresh air. The beach is amazing and the water is warm. There is a large coral reef to snorkel and tons of fish to see. The hotel has beach chairs, umbrellas and other stuff you can use for free. The only negatives is there is very limited...

'This is the perfect place/location for those seeking a nice condo in Kaanapali. The complex is right next to the Whaler’s village and has good beach front with cabana, lounge and umbrella rentals available. The units are spacious with good kitchens. We’ve been to Maui many times and feel that this is the best option.'

'Very close to the beach. Nice room, good ammenities. Had an AC in the room. Ice machine did not work sadly. Good place to explore the island but also relax a little in the Napili bay. Supermarket closeby. Loved our stay here. Would definitely come again.'

'Our family will definitely stay here again! It’s a beautiful hotel and our suit accommodated my family of four (the 2nd restroom was such a bonus). We enjoyed the different selections of pool to chill in a with just steps to the beach. Although, Whalers Village is not that far of a walk, having the option of the hotel providing us with a golf cart ride there was fantastic, especially after being in sun all day. My family and I highly recommend this resort to your family as well!'

'The room was clean and spacious. The kitchen was clean and stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc. The laundry is equipped with washers, dryers, an iron, a steamer, etc. The staff was very helpful. The property is very close to the beach. No TV and no elevator. If you have issues with stairs, inform them so you can book the first floor.'
