A charming family home nestled halfway up a hillside with a spectacular view of the Seine Valley, our house is located on the GR 2 trail. Just 200 meters from the center of La Roche-Guyon and a few kilometers from Giverny and Villarceaux, its cultural offerings (historic monuments, remarkable gardens, and museums) are every bit as impressive as the nearby recreational activities (hiking, mountain biking, the greenway bike route between Paris and Le Havre, boating, golf, and gliding from the Chérence airfield, 6 km away…).<br>La Roche Guyon is listed as one of the most beautiful villages in France—the only one in the Île-de-France region to receive this distinction—and has been selected as one of the French people’s favorite villages. La Roche Guyon is a highlight of the French Vexin Regional Nature Park, both for its location and its hillside nature reserves. <br>In the center of La Roche Guyon (200 meters away), you’ll find a bakery and pastry shop, a grocery store, a restaurant, a crêperie, a pizzeria, and a brasserie and tobacco shop.
