« The house was great. The location is great. Next to lots of eating establishments. Near 2 banks (ATMs). Near the Lake Chapala Society, all within 5 or 6 blocks. The neighbors and neighborhood are so friendly and kind. The host was on it. When we needed anything, he made sure his on call maintenance guy was there. Not sure how he did this in Mexico but the guy was here within 1 or 2 hours even on a Sunday. Love the place and the host. So sad to leave. »

« Place is lovely. Clean, friendly hosts, beautiful courtyard and easy parking right in front. Great space! Always felt safe, felt safe everywhere we went. Definitely recommend. The only downside is no air conditioning and during the day if we stopped or a few nights, it was pretty warm even with the fans. »

« This is a clean, comfortable apartment located in a gated community at the top of Paseo del Lago. Ideal for one or two people.It is older construction and there's no A/C, but Joel has provided a fan for those warm afternoons.It's about a 5-10 minute walk down to the carretera, For a long stay, you'll probably want some wheels: bus, bike rental, and rideshare apps all work well.There's no clothes dryer, but the host provides a rack to set your clothes outside to dry if you wish.I really liked...

« I would not stay here again. the freezer was frozen and leaked on the floor. no extra blankets, the bathroom was not clean and had hair on the flor and hair on the shower floor. The place should have been half the price with the condition it was in. the worst stay I have ever had with an expedia property ! »

« The Casa Caroline Bella is a beautifully maintained house, perfect for our son's wedding that took place near by at the Garden of Dreams Boutique Hotel. It provided a great place for family and friends to meet, visit and relax between all the wedding events. The house is also close to the center of the town so we were able to walk everywhere. « This property was pretty close to perfect. The house was beautiful and the views of the lake, mountains, sunrises and sunsets were amazing. We made a point of taking a couple of days where we just hung out at home enjoying the house, pool and views. We were able to walk a lot of places and arrange tours with guides that picked up/dropped off at our house. Wished I had left several pair of sandals at home and brought a couple more pair of sneakers as wearing sneakers made navigating the hilly...

« So grateful we found this little piece of heaven. We leave with very full hearts. Ajijic has captured our hearts and we can't wait to return next year! Our accommodations were 5 stars. We were the envy of everyone we met here. Location can't be beat! Kitchen is well equipped.
