'A beautiful well equip comfortable cottage in the middle of the French countryside with its own private swimming pool and large garden.The cottage is several miles outside the town, so a car is necessary. We received good prompt information and tips from the owner. And received good local advice from Bill,the local rep.'

'Verblijf in de gite als de streek was heel fijn! Fietsen en wandelen deden ons deugd. Bij aanvang met de grote warmte was het aanwezige zwembad welkom geweest. Gelukkig vonden we aangename zwemplaatsen in de regio. Dank voor het grote welkomspakket en de lieve zorg van de eigenaars!'

'Woning ligt zeer rustig gelegen , 10 minuten met de wagen tot dichtstbijzijnde bakker en een grote supermarkt. Ideale plaats om uit te rusten , weg van de drukte. Uitstekend zwembad. Heel vriendelijke ontvangst. Een aanrader voor wie de rust zoekt. 1,5 uur rijden tot aan de kust met de eilanden, zeker een bezoek waard.'

'Fiona et Sam nous ont accueillis chaleureusement. Nous avons passé un formidable séjour. Tout est pensé pour le bien-être des hôtes : décoration soignée, literie parfaite au parfum agréable, propreté générale du gite, accessoires et linge disponibles, petites attentions à l'arrivée (confiture, gâteaux, bonbons, savon maison, et plus encore !) La propriété est très bien entretenue, et propose divers espaces pour en profiter tout au long de la journée (et de la soirée) : jardin, piscine privative,...

'Sophie et Paul ont tout fait pour faciliter notre arrivée et notre sejour. Nous avons eu un temps merveilleux, idéal pour profiter du jardin et de la piscine. Nous avons pris tous les repas dehors. Comme l'indiquent d'autres voyageurs, un bémol sur l'insonorisation. Et l'une des chambre double est en mezzanine, sans entree privée ni volets. Très belle région, à découvrir !'

'The house is as stylish and capacious as the booking information suggests! We made full use of the cool indoor spaces and the pool during our stay at the height of a heatwave. Macqueville and the nearby villages are very quiet and we experienced the slightly unreliable hours of the village shop and restaurant. Booking there is essential. Also a special mention for Dave who was very helpful. '

'From the initial communication with the owner to our departure after two weeks of relaxation everything was ideal. We found the property very authentic, comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped. The location perfect for us as we love rural France. We will definitely consider returning here again'
