'The welcoming words at the check in, the overall state of the accommodation, sufficient gym, clean pool, extremely friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, good and friendly security, close to transportation motorcycles, close to golf court, good AC on the rooms, good WiFi, great buffet breakfast (English). Great outside places to enjoy breakfast.We had small technical issue on our room, it was fixed immediately. Overall a great stay, definitely recommendable. '

'I stayed 2 nights in a Mirembe cottage- my friend had the cottage next door and we had a dedicated outside eating area, from where we were served our food.We were served by James who was consistently courteous and efficient .We felt like film stars on a tropical island as we ate delicious food sitting by the lake watching a wide variety of birds - it was just such a treat!'

'Amazing place to stay in Kalangala. Such a comfortable and clean place to stay. The staff were all friendly and helpful. As we stayed during the week we had the place to ourselves. Pool area was lovely. Food was delish! The forest activities were a lot of fun! It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature as well as the views of Lake Victoria! '

'Wonderful staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and well equipped. There was even lots of hot water for a shower! The breakfast choices were excellent and the food was well done and tasty. The property is garden like with many plants and trees, sitting spaces and paths between buildings. A wonderful setting for rest and relaxing.'

'Quiet and quaint during an early march visit. I think we were the only people staying there! Pool was great, and our room was right on the lakes edge. 50meters from the ferry terminal. Perfect if you’re looking for cheap and cheerful but don’t expect much more than the perfect base to explore the island'

'The hotel is bordered by the lake on one side and virgin forest on the other. I took 3 marvelous meals a day and the evening meal had a roaring camp fire. Staff were superb. A boat trip organised by the manager was wonderful, many lake birds, families of monitor lizards and a flock of african grey parrots! Rooms clean, food good, drinks cold, assistance with travel, infact assistance with anything. What more do you want! '

'This place was wonderful for our family. The staff were so kind and helpful. They had a car on the premise and were able to make multiple trips for us. Breakfast was brought to our apartment each morning, and was very tasty. The apartment itself is comfortable and has everything you need. Very close to airport. Would definitely stay here again. '

'We had a wonderful stay at this lodge in Entebbe! The location is truly special—right on the lake and only accessible by water taxi, which makes it feel like a peaceful escape from everything. At night, you can hear all the wildlife around you, which adds to the unique experience. During the day, the area is full of fascinating birds—perfect for nature lovers. 'The staff at the hotel was just amazing, very kind, helpful and hospitable. Especially Daniel who picked me up and dropped me at the zoo and the airport! The hotel is a bit old, but it has a nice façade and a big lawn where you can just chill in the sun. '
