Aloha! Come bring your ohana (family) and friends to sit on our beautiful wrap around patio at our beautiful Pu'uhonua (place of refuge) with breathtaking tropical views. The great room and kitchen are the heart of Pu'uhonua located on the 2nd floor featuring wrap around windows making it feel like you are experiencing the outside from within. This arrangement allows guests the option of making meals at home while still enjoying every part of Kauai's beauty. The amazingly grand lanai allows for outdoor dining under the stars providing a large gathering area, but Pu'uhonua also offers the privacy of three bedrooms (1 upstairs and 2 downstairs) each having their own complete bathroom and private tranquil lanai. Each room has its own ceiling fan for additional comfort with the cool tropical trade wind breeze. For those of you who need to stay in touch with the real world we offer free wireless internet service.

When you are on vacation it is all about location and our open air Pu'uhonua home sits in the lushly landscaped 70 acre Poipu Kai Resort conveniently located between Shipwrecks Beach and Poipu
Beach. Poipu Beach has been rated as one of the top ten beaches in North America featuring a peaceful 'baby beach' for keiki (child) to play in the sun, while still staying cool. If you are interested in snorkeling, then Poipu beach can offer you a variable paradise of beautiful and exotic tropical fish. If you are more of a boogie boarding thrill seeker then Shipwrecks Beach is the place for you with some of the best surf on the island. The best part about all of this is that these beaches are simply a 15 minute walk on the green belt of Poipu Kai and we will provide everything you will need to enjoy a day at the beach including snorkel gear, boogie boards, umbrellas, coolers, beach chairs, mats, and beach towels!!!

If you need a break from the beach, this rental is also apart of the Poipu Kai Resort Complex allowing access to numerous amenities including resort pool, jacuzzi, and multiple tennis courts. If you are interested in taking a swing at Kauai's most prestigious golf courses than you need to look no further than Poipu. Our rental is down the road to the Poipu Bay Golf course, which is home to the illustrious PGA Grand Slam.

Historic Koloa Town, Poipu Shopping Center, and Kukui'ula Village Shopping Center are about 3 miles away from the rental offering a mixture of amazing restaurants (Keoki's and Roy's are amazing), unique shops, and convenient grocery stores. Poipu is ideally located on the sunny south side of the island with equal traveling distance between the lushly vibrant North Shore and the scenic 'West Side' with it's breathtaking Waimea Canyon (The Grand Canyon of the Pacific) and the spectacular shear cliffs of the Na Pali Coast all seen from Koke'e State Park.
