Enchanted Hills is an idyllic setting for couples, families, and individuals with a preference for the "road less traveled". Off the beaten track, our villa offers peace and privacy that is hard to find in expedient locations, while ensuring safety and convenience to the nearby restaurants, spas, shops and other amenities.
Nestled in the pristine hilltops of the secluded Santithani estate, Enchanted Hills is surrounded by natural beauty with views of the rolling hills, forests and distant islands. The sounds of the jungle and two nearby waterfalls echo through the hills during the raining season. The air feels fresh in the hills, particularly with the morning breeze flowing through the open house.
Inspired by the Mediterranean motif, the home was designed to accommodate comfort and outdoor living, optimizing sunlight and sunset views. The fusion of lush landscape and vibrant decor balances the tranquility and liveliness -- creating a space for contemplation as well as sociability. Open and inviting layout of the living, dining and entertaining spaces with high / vaulted ceilings --featured throughout the home -- add to the villa's spaciousness and functionality of everything being within sight and reach. Furnished with the main purpose of comfort and ease, the interior is subtle yet elegant.
The residence consists of the main house with the open living area on the first level and two private bedrooms with ensuite baths on the second. A guest wing connected to the main house by a terrace and outdoor dining beneath has two bedrooms and ensuite baths -- allowing for full privacy for guests.
A large garden surrounding the house practically conceals it from view and other homes in this quiet and charming neighborhood. On a busy day, one may spot perhaps ten cars passing by on the below access road winding through the hills, mostly neighbors or maintenance staff making their rounds. Yet the house feels sheltered even from this infrequent passage. The garden is made of indigenous trees and plants that grew here long before the house was built. Bougainvilleas, cactai, morning glory and few other varieties were added for contrast and a touch of flare. Several fruit trees including mango, coconut, papaya and cashew nut still produce seasonal fruits that can be had right off the tree in the right season.
The villa management is professional, responsive and tailored to our unique community. The estate is efficiently managed and guarded by a Thai British property management firm, which also offers various other services deliverable to our villa, such as car rentals, child care, chefs, massages, and pre-arrival grocery shopping among others. The rates are very reasonable and we'll be happy to get you in contact with the management.
You may note that our rates are lower in comparison to other similar villas. This is so becasue our holiday home is not a business; we rent it in order to cover the high expenses of maintaining this lovely home in the tropics in the best condition and with as many services as possible. At the same time, we are happy to share it with those like-minded travelers who sense that Enchanted Hills may be the place for them.
