No running water and inoperable hot tub
Needless to say, while the property looked beautiful online, we were extremely disappointed upon arrival. We discovered that the water had been turned off, and despite contacting both the host and the facility maintenance person, the issue could not be resolved that day. As a result, we were forced to find alternative lodgingâan extremely difficult task on a holiday weekend with 11 family members needing accommodations.The cost to relocate to three hotel rooms and purchase meals for dinner and breakfast far exceeded the refund we received for the first night. This does not even begin to account for the stress, lost time, and overall inconvenience of scrambling to find a solution while waiting for support.Unfortunately, neither VRBO nor The Evolve Team were helpful during this urgent situation. Their lack of responsiveness and support left us feeling completely abandoned.Additionally, one of the main reasons we chose this home was for the advertised hot tub. Upon our return the following day, we discovered the hot tub was inoperable. We reported the issue to the host immediatelyâyet nothing was done to address or compensate for it. Again, another major disappointment.For anyone considering booking through VRBO with the expectation of peace of mind, support, or reliable accommodationsâplease be warned. Our experience proved quite the opposite.
