'Amazing! We lived in Charlevoix 55 yrs ago as newlyweds in the Coast Guard. Husband spoke with Earl Young to rent the Half House. Couldn’t afford at 150 mo!!! ! So this was soo fun. Beach down the hill, town is walk able everywhere. It’s pretty much original so enjoy the history of it!!! We’ll be back!'

'Charming cottage within walking distance of Alden Michigan. The place was VERY clean and the kitchen well stocked with all needed utensils and kitchen items!! Bathrooms VERY clean as well and plenty of sitting areas for guests. We had 2 nights with 11 guests and everyone had a bed and extra bedding was provided! Great dock with ample deck chairs and a mooring buoy which held our 24’ master craft boat all week long! '

'Older cottage that has been restored very nicely. Bedrooms were large and comfortable. The outside was very spacious and soooo quite. You can walk to the beach and yet was very close to Charlevoix. Gerry was a great host and saw to our every need.Thanks'

'From the curb you might think there's no way its as big as listed. The house goes deep. Plenty of room on the main floor for entertaining with almost all bedrooms upstairs. Clean, plenty of cooking utensils and sil erware. Hosts are quick to respond. Perfect for our group.'

'This is our second time here and it is a slice of heaven. A beautiful piece of property. We spent each of our evenings in the back yard at the fire pit. The house is clean and well appointed (even with a S’Mores kit). The hosts are excellent. A fantastic VRBO. '

'Everything about this location is PHENOMENAL. Beautiful property both inside and out. Everything you need is there. Clean, stocked and location to the sandbar is right across the street. 'Ample parking for our car & boat trailer. Fully stocked kitchen. Huge family room with beautiful windows overlooking the water. Large, private lot - great for yard games! Individual a/c units in each living space were fantastic. Comfortable furniture & bedding. Gas grill & washer/dryer were a bonus. The dock was a great spot to moor our boat and enjoy a cup of coffee/glass of wine.'

"Locatie is goed maar de kamer was niet heel schoon bij binnenkomst. (Komt mede doordat er snel veel zand wordt binnen gelopen). We hadden voor 3 personen een kamer geboekt (2v1k) maar het bed voor ons kind was niet opgemaakt. Ook handdoeken, bekers en buiten stolen waren allemaal voor 2 personen. "
