'Peaceful, relaxing, and near to everything. Will definitely be back. We definitely have the privacy we need and still being near everywhere we need to be. The drive is 30 mins to Shenandoa, 1 hr to Luray Cavern and 30 mins to Monticello. We went to winery around as well. Resort is very responsive. Our car is awd and has its own navigation so it worked out fine for us. No cellular service but wifi is great. '

'We had only booked for one night to go to family reunion. We will definitely consider returning. The space was very warm and welcoming. It is a great place if you have children (no matter what age) traveling with you. There are games and activities for all ages. There wasn't a kitchen so to speak but had all essential for breakfast and lunch, and a microwave to rehear a dinner. '

'We had a wedding at a local winery and this was the perfect venue for our group. Had a great time. The host was incredibly accommodating and was flexible with check in so we could have time to get ready. Only thing is the ladies wished there was a full length mirror for getting ready. Otherwise no complaints. '

'First time here, staying in the lodge in a themed room with a fantastic view and wonderful sunrise. Food was excellent in the restaurant. The surprise came when we found out that a large fireworks display was being held at the lodge! We did not have to go anywhere for anything! One little complaint: we heard the people above us. Other than that, great experience!'

'SPACIOUS AND COZY There were 2 king size beds, 4 sets of bunk beds, and a very comfy extra large couch. LOCATION Beautiful area. Lots of horse and cows within eye sight of the house. Incredible starlight night sky. Check-in went smooth, kitchen had everything we needed to cook, and the place was clean. Lots of small touches that the host put into providing an amazing experience for us. '

'This house is absolutely amazing from top to bottom. The view is even better in person than what you see in the pictures. The black stone was a very nice touch and allowed us to cook a wonderful meal one night. The house was fully stocked with all kitchen supplies that you would need. Internet was perfect and I was able to take a few work calls while there with no problem. The property is very secluded and you don’t see any neighbors while at the house! Very short drive to entrance of Shenandoah...

'Very well done and super clean studio in a historical building. Great location to Old Rag and trails on the East side of Shenandoah. Coffee and breakfast right down the road and decent restaurants within a 20 minute drive. '
