'Everything it’s described to be; quiet, private, well equipped, comfortably furnished. Cooking, grilling steaks, relaxing on the porch, enjoying coffee in the morning, building a fire in the fireplace in the evening, listening to the sound of a rushing stream below, really all we hoped for. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for such a quiet, secluded retreat. The proprietor was readily available with helpful advice. 'We had a lovely getaway weekend - the cabin is lovely, had everything we needed, and was super clean. The outdoor space is idyllic, and the sounds of the elusive waterfall make a lovely background. We especially loved the outdoor shower and watching the hummingbirds.'

'Very quiet. Beautiful property. They have nice beds and furniture. Rustic look to it. A fire pit and grills to cook on. Self control of air and heating. Lots of places to take walk, hike. '

'House was in a prime location about a ten minute drive to the downtown and other local attractions. We were looking for a “in the woods” feel and this was a great mix of convenience and seclusion. The back deck is really nice. If traveling with small children who are used to sleeping in dark rooms, I do suggest bringing travel black out shades for the large windows in both bedrooms. We found the downstairs bedroom to be easier for our kids. '

'We had a lovely time staying at this cabin. The property was beautiful and the cabin was clean and well stocked. The outdoor shower was a nice touch. We had a very peaceful and relaxing vacation. There were lots of lovely restuarants nearby and plenty of hiking areas. We did not have to go more than 20 minutes to find an adventure. '

'The cabin was so comfortable, and just as described. We all remarked on how comfortable the beds were, and the abundance of pillows to choose from for a restful sleep. The location was perfect, and the property was just beautiful! We loved waking up to bird song - such a variety of birds to hear and photograph! Rhona, our host, was very prompt and courteous in responding to any communication and/or questions. It's always great to get away with family and friends, reconnect, and just enjoy each...

'My family enjoyed a relaxing extended weekend stay. Cabin is in an awesome location, close proximity to NY28. Property is on a dead end block which offers lots of privacy, with the tranquil sound of the creek in the background. We look forward to returning soon. '
