Excellent food with multiple choices and a tasting menu with wine pairings that was perfect each night, a great surprise given the small size of the lodge. Definitely one of my most memorable stays! 'Staff was so helpful and courteous. Very welcoming and had us in our room within no time. The meal was superb. The abeef Cheeks was so tender and scrumptious. Our bed was so comfortable and very warm. Our only gripes and downfall if any was the room for diabled persons is quite a fair way from the lifts and it was so cold in the corridors and bedroom. 'Jan and Graeme were great hosts. Unfortunately, we missed the wine tasting on the first night, however were pleasantly surprised when we attended our second night. Great discussions and selection of wines. The room was very cosy and secure with everything we needed and the BBQ was great for what we needed. Indulged in a spa on site and again were impressed by the property. Would definitely go back. '
