Luxe hotels in Kauai

'There were some areas that needed upgrading, such as the carpet in the room was pretty old, etc. Service staff were very good. Entertainment was good. It’s a big resort with lots of stairs which could prove difficult for people with mobility issues. Over all though we had a great time and it was lovely.'

'Een ongewoon vriendelijke service en efficient antwoord op elke vraag zoals dat zelden voorkomt zelfs bij 5 sterren hotels kenmerkt de zeer positieve ingesteldheid van gans het personeel. Daarnaast zeer stijlvolle en moderne maar wat kleine kamers , wel zeer confortabele bedden en een leuk klein zwembad en ligweide zoals dat hoort bij een bourtique hotel. Enig minpunt de wat luide airco op de kamer en de piepkleine kluis waarin amper een ipad past.'

'Lava Lava is on site for all meals and is great.property is Quiet by ten every night except for the surf which is just a few steps past the restaurant. Small but very nice rooms with everything that’s needed. Parking is in short supply but they do have valet. Best staff I’ve ever encountered. So kind and helpful! '

'We enjoyed the cabin a lot, especially the kitchen is a nice area to sit and go over the day ahead or past. The resort is easy to find, easy to check-in, east to navigate on foot, Waimea itself is within walking distance and has the basics like 2 supermarkets and a few eating options. Location is within a minute from the start of Waimea Canyon Drive, but if you want to visit the North Coast, then it does take an hour/hour and a half driving there. For us this was not an issue.'

'This was a wonderful experience at the Royal Sonesta in Kauai, Hawaii. The staff were incredibly friendly and the overall atmosphere was excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely choose this hotel for my next vacation.'

'I got a really nice Condominium (look’s like a house) doble floor, doble bedroom, doble bathroom and a nice view to the sea. You need to drive like 20 min far away to find a nice place to swing but it is an small island. Behind the hotel it is an amazing place to eat, the name is Kauai Boba & Barbecue( delicious and amazing people). '

' Goed hotel met prachtige ligging en prettig zwembad (geen kinderbadje). Airco was super stil en werkte erg goed. Jammer dat er geen sport faciliteiten zijn en dat keuken uit niks meer en minder bestaat dan een koelkast. Er hing een bordje in de keuken indien je apparatuur miste dat je de receptie kon bellen. Wij hebben gebeld voor een brood rooster (redelijk standaard voor een hotel kamer met kitchenette lijkt mij) maar helaas die hadden ze niet. Een vorige gast had er zelf een keer 1 gekocht...
