This 2200 square foot home was built in 2002 with an additional bedroom and bathroom added in 2012. It was designed in old Hawaii estate style with a roomy 1100 square feet of lanai, screens and sliders that open full length plus louvered windows to encourage the tropical trade winds to maintain the home at a comfortable temperature without the use of air conditioning. A seawall on the ocean side of the home protects the landscape from salt-water damage so the lush tropical flora flourishes. The dipping pool outside the north bedroom wing is the perfect spot to refresh after a day of golf or tennis at one of the nearby resorts.
