Turtle Bay is such a peaceful and spectacular place. This propertyâs gated community really leans into the luxuries and beauty of the north shore. The kitchen, laundry and living spaces were all great.
Nice location on the north side. Well kept with nice amenities. Comfortable bed and setup well with must have items like a cooler for exploring O'ahu on the go.
The property was nice and very convenient. We had a couple of issues. One was with the cooking grill. They don't have a gas grill, so we had to go back to the store and get charcoal and a lighter, since there wasn't one in the unit. We had already purchased quite a lot of meat to grill, so it wasn't an option to not grill. The grill was somewhat difficult to use and not very clean. The other issue was the place didn't have beach towels, they only have a couple of beach blanket type things and two camping chairs, not beach chairs. So, bring your own chairs if you want the typical Tommy Bahama style beach chair. The unit also doesn't have a Kuerig coffee maker. The overall cleanliness and communication of the property manager was excellent. Beautiful golf course view as well. Overall, we enjoyed the stay.
We wanted to escape the busy area of Waikiki on our trip and decided to stay in the North Shore. We loved this location because it was in the middle of all the places we wanted to go to. Very close walk to Turtle Bay beach! Place was clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely book again:
We loved this place! Itâs in great location- you can dine/walk among Turtle Bay, enjoying the crowds, or enjoy quiet in the condo. Close to Kahuku, which is fun too. Condo is not fancy, but perfect -great layout, nice, new, plentiful towels, bedding, and kitchen has everything youâd ever need on vacation. Nice, responsive mgt team as well. Would def recommend!
This was the perfect spot for us - we loved the experience of staying in North Shore, convenience of being close to the Turtle Bay amenities, and opportunity to save money on a few meals by having a full kitchen. This may be a one-bedroom, but it was very spacious and the two full baths were really nice to have. The owners thought of everything - plenty of bath towels, everything from dish soap to shower gel, and even beach towels. We were really comfortable here, thank you so much!
Charming condo, LR faces golf course. Very quiet. 10 min walk to beach. Close to many things - Polynesian Cultural. Center, food trucks, beaches and great hiking!
We stayed for 4 days on the North Shore, and the unit was nice and convenient. It was great being so close to Turtle Bay Resort and also in between Laie and Haleiwa. The bed was comfortable and the linens were lovely. Nice having two bathrooms too. The pool was nice and quiet. Overall, a very relaxing stay on the beautiful North Shore.
My husband and I stayed at this cute property for a wedding weekend on Oahu for some dear friends. It made a great home base to escape to after busy days full of activities. It was comfortable and the towels & bed linens were all very clean. My only feedback is that the floor tiles felt like they could benefit from a good deep clean & some things could use updating like the balcony sliding door that had a broken latch mechanism and was unable to lock properly (at least that we could tell). The property managers were very quick to reply and good communicators. The grounds were beautiful & the whole surrounding area was so quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay again.
The accomodations are ok. Check in was smooth, bed was nice, everything was clean, beach towels were included, and the walk to Turtle Bay was pretty short.
However, it was a bit disappointing how cheap and bare-bones everything was. Near useless dull knives in the kitchen, a plastic hand soap bottle with a "do not throw out" sign, and comically small and cheap TVs. Most baffling to us was the second bathroom's shower -- it appeared to be missing the hardware to switch water between the tub faucet and the showerhead. Despite being intended to be used as a shower, we were unable to do so, and I think that speaks to the kind of cost-cutting and mismanagement going on at this place.
