'It is VERY remote. Close to where I was hiking, but a bit scary for a single, older female. The price was more than I had anticipated, but that's my fault for not noticing all the additional charges'

A very comfy and cozy property. The showers had amazing water pressure and got very hot and the bathroom heater came in very handy after a chilly day in the park.'

'This mountain house was spotless. The four bedrooms and bathrooms were well appointed. We cooked several family meals while we were there. From the back deck we saw deer passing by along with fabulous sunsets. It was an easy drive to West Jefferson and to Blowing Rock as well as the parkway.'

'The property was exactly as described. It was bright and airey and very comfortable. There is no view, but the location is quiet and convenient to the Parkway, Boone, and Blowing Rock. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.'
