Fresh tropical fruits, a choice of farm eggs from our neighbours, or a vegan option with an authentic homemade Baobab, beans, potato and herbs soup, and with each order we serve fresh off the pan chapati & mandazi, jam, beans, nuts, tea & coffee — made and delivered each morning by women from the village. ✨

We you order your food it is cooked fresh from scratch 🥰 That’s the point. Guests who embrace it leave with full hearts. We live close by. Here when you need us, invisible when you don’t. We organise all island excursions at honest local prices — dolphins, spice tours, dhow cruises, Stone Town, kitting, snorkeling, Jozani forest and more. Just ask. 🌱 Proudly imperfect by design. Zanzibar is predominantly Muslim and the neighbouring mosques are beautiful and active — expect the melodic call to prayer five times daily including sunrise. Many guests tell us it’s one of their favourite parts of staying here.
