Great beach base camp
The house was great with a well appointed kitchen, full laundry and spacious, comfortable bedrooms, but what really sets this location apart is the access to Jaco Beach.
You can go from putting your sandals on at the door to taking them off on the edge of the Pacific in 2-3 minutes. Not only that, but this section of Jaco Beach is the best beach we found in the greater area. For comparison, we spent part of an afternoon at Manuel Antonio beach and left early to return to our little paradise in Jaco. The host also provides a sun shade, camp chairs and boogie boards in the garage for your beach outings.
As well! This location is well removed from the relative bustle of downtown Jaco with walkable amenities like the convenient Super Arturo, Puddlefish Brewery and the must see hike to the lookout at El Miro.

Dream vacation
We spent a month in this home and it was a perfect base for our family adventures while in Costa Rica. The property was clean and well kept. We had couple of normal maintenance things that were immediately addressed. The host was beyond helpful with anything we needed whether it related to the property or not. It is in the perfect area of Jaco Beach for relaxing beach days.

No attention to detail
Stay somewhere else.
The listing description has a kayak but none was present. The fourth bedroom is off the garage and separate from the actual house and it smelled of sewage. Two of the shower drains were clogged. The white towels were dingy and looked like rags. The house sleeps 8 but there weren’t enough bath and beach towels for all. There were cabinet doors in kitchen off hinges and master toilet seat was broken. Issues were reported and property manager attempted to get handyman out but there wasn’t follow through. We locked ourselves out and the property manager wasn’t avail to help us.

Wonderful family vacation home
The home was just perfect for our family vacation. The host was helpful and responsive to questions and one minor issue that was resolved very quickly. The house had everything we needed - and lots of room for everyone to spread out. Would definitely come again!

Better than they advertised!
A bit of confusion at booking but check in was smooth and Barbara was so friendly and kind as she showed us around the property. All amenities needed were there and the property was better than the pictures or the description. We has a groups of 5 (1 senior and 4 adults using all the bedrooms. The rooms were large North American size. AC was in every area. The upstairs enclosed patio with hammock was so relaxing and the home had multiple areas on the main floor to not be all on top of each other. 2 bedrooms downstairs was perfect so no stairs for seniors. The community of homes is only 8 on the street with a pool and private walk to the beach of 5 mins. Absolutely fantastic and would recommend to friends.
