'Tucked away off the road, in a great location on the "quiet side", away from the crowds of Bar Harbor. Easy access as a home base to explore Acadia and all the island has to offer. Had a great time visiting Maine on our family vacation!'

'Everything was seamless about checking-in and out. Everything you could possibly think of is available for your use. You literally just need food and clothing. I wish there was AC, but my partner liked it warm. It did cool down late at night and there was a window fan to help. The owner put in a lot of thought in creating a peaceful stay. It was close enough to town to the local restaurants and activities. '

'Nice location, walkable to Beals for lobster and the Claremont for lunch on dock. Kitchen was beautifully stocked with everything you need to cook, bake or grill.Comfortable beds. Nice deck with view of the water. Short walk to crushed shell beach perfect for watching passing boats or small kids to play. '

'We had such a nice week at the cottage! Loved the location on the quiet side of the island, especially being able to walk down to the Bass Harbor Lighthouse to watch the sun set. Our boys loved playing in the huge yard. And the cottage was clean & gave us plenty of space to hang out between our outings exploring Acadia.'

'The space is large and our family of four had plenty of room. Our younger child particularly enjoyed the toys that were available and there is space for everyone to have downtime after a day spent hiking in Acadia. The house is close to a number of "quiet side" sites, including the Wonderland trail, Bass Harbor Lighthouse, and Long Lake. '
