'Goed bereikbaar. 10 km van centrum van Eygilstadir met winkels, tankstation en horeca. Mooie omgeving. Gehorig, kun je pech mee hebben - hadden wij niet. Oude matras met dikke zachte topper, moet beter. Prima ontbijt.'

'Very clean room, spacious and a very polite, friendly and warm host. The family running the guesthouse does everything with love and you can see that! Breakfast is a great. Only thing, maybe a kettle could be handy. I'd love to make a coffee and hot water can help with that. '

'Cosy guesthouse in the middle of nowhere. The owner, Siggi, gave us a very warm welcome when we arrived and we had a great chat with him over morning coffee. The room and facilities were excellent; next to the room itself there's a well equipped common area with sofas, TV, fridge, etcetera. Excellent bed and pillows. Got a tasty breakfast buffet even though it just the two of us that morning. Would come again!'

'The staff was very helpful with e-mailing me ahead of time so I knew it was a long drive on a gravel road and there was no food available in the area. What I wasn't prepared for was the steep climb up a one lane road and back down. My little rental car did do just fine and then at the end wow what a view! The area was breathtaking. Im so glad I made the drive to experience this magical place.'
