« We stayed in the Basic Cabin with 1 queen, 2 twin beds. It was quaint, small, clean, old rustic and appeared to have had some renovations. The queen bed was soft and comfy. The twin bed mattresses were thin and harder. Couldn’t get the ceiling fan to work, and the gas wood stove wasn’t needed on a hot night. All the cooling came from a small window A/C unit. « I planned this trip for my birthday, and it was absolutely what I was hoping for. The people running the place were beyond kind and helpful, and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable/happy. The cabin was exactly as portrayed, if not better. »

The treehouse is up the hill from the office and the owners live there by the office and work hard at keeping the property safe and well groomed. The property was clean and we enjoyed our stay. « We had such a wonderful time at this A-frame! The location is perfect - tucked away about 10 minutes from town but still easily accessible, and just a short 5-minute walk to the pond. « Our family really enjoyed our stay at Riverwood Cabin. It is a beautifully appointed cabin with lots of room in a private tree and river setting. They even have a diverse vinyl record collection, which we enjoyed listening to! It is close to North Conway, NH, and accessible to all things Southern Maine. Darlene is a wonderful host!
