'This place is a hidden gem! Everyone there is so kind and helpful - we booked it on a whim on a roadtrip from Nevada up to Oregon and it did not disappoint! Beverly and the team was exceptional! It was stinking hot and there isn’t A/C in the rooms but lots of fans and air flow. It’s a historic building so the walls are a bit thin and doors slam, but overall, it’s a cute piece of history with amazing staff! Anytime we drive though, we will absolutely stay here!'

'It's a renovated old motel. Feels kinda cheap; the bathroom is really small, with no space to put the toothbrush or towel. Small mirror. Old, cheap-looking sink. But the water is running fine. The shower is really tiny. The carpet in the room has spills and spots, but is well vacuum-cleaned. Bedsheets are clean, and the bed is comfortable. It's ok for a one-night stay, but it should be cheaper. Location is quiet, and looks ok. I wouldn't stay there again.'

'Our room was clean and comfortable. We did find the accordion doors over the bath tub that opened into the bedroom an interesting design choice and one we did not use. We did walk through the casino on the way to the restaurant and understand that smoking was allowed inside the casino. It just isn't something we are use to, so we found the cigarette smoke overwhelming. We did eat at the restaurant, Seasons, but we would not recommend the food. My husband had the burger and it had a dry piece...

'Nice for a "motel" like property, and comfortable enough. But there is not staff here (except housekeeping in the mourning), so if there is any problem it's not super easy to get help. I texted and never heard back. Clean all around and interiors were comfortable. The bed had big divots on each side, giving me the impression it was pretty old. Big plus - free ice! I'll probably try another place next time.'

'Room was clean, but the noise from second floor feels like the people are literally in your room. The other concern, that your room number is pre-made before your arrival. From this point the host needs to do better planning how to accommodate. If there are people staying 2-3 nights and come earlier - make sense to put them on a second floor, so the one’s, who stay overnight and come at 2am will not bother with continuous nose while they unpacking stuff in the middle of the night. 'Airco’s maken een vreselijk kabaal, ook van andere kamers zijn goed te horen, algehele afwerking is slecht, kieren rond de deuren. Ontbijt is een lachertje met slechte koffie en wat verpakte koeken. Een schril contrast tot eerdere Super 8 motels waar we verbleven hebben. Veel te duur voor wat het is. Om het enigszins positief af te sluiten, het was wel schoon.'

'Just a basic, old two story motel right on the main drag in the middle of town. The ratings given must be relative to the local competition. I recommend passing through Susanville for somewhere else.'

'Laten we beginnen met de 2 positieve punten, ruime kamer, lekker bed. Dat was het dan. Nare vervelende dames bij de receptie, totaal niet behulpzaam en arrogant. Kamerpasje deed het steeds niet en in plaats van verontschuldiging, kregen we een grote bek dat wij niet goed met de pasjes omgingen. Ontbijt ook vreselijk, slecht, armoedig buffet met geschifte melk in de koffie. Zwembad ook niet schoon en klein. Wij komen hier nooit meer.'
