'-Seaside bures were so lovely and cool even though no ac or wifi, the outdoor shower was beautiful -The staff are incredibly friendly and have made us want to come back just for kuata -The food was great with mostly buffet style. 'I had the pleasure of staying here for 1 night and it was wonderful. The location is perfect and quiet, and it was good to enjoy some peace after spending time in other busier towns/cities. Esther was a great host, very kind and welcoming. Will be recommending this place to anyone who travels to this part of New Zealand.'

'Heerlijk verblijf in ‘the middle of nowhere’. De eigenaar is ontzettend aardig en behulpzaam, de omgeving is prachtig. Houd er rekening mee dat er geen supermarkt in de nabije omgeving aanwezig is. Restaurants zijn er wel. '

'Nice place where they keep the authentic stuff from the jail. Room is rather small, but this is no problem since you are staying in a jail! Big and well equiped kitchen. Clean bathroom and towels for free.'
