'The view from the room is lovely. The kitchen has the basics, plenty for breakfast and lunch. Without a car, there are many, many steps from the town center to the apartment. The landlord was exceptionally knowledgeable. Our ferry was cancel because of wind. She drove us across the island to the port where the car ferry was running. '

'The apartment was ok very small but it work location great- only thing is be prepared to bring coffee, sugar and all your essentials it was empty normally I leave behind coffee or sugar for the next guess but here clearly nothing is left behind…but overall good experience'

'The small roads close to the hotel are tricky to drive on, but there's plenty of parking once you're there. Nice helpful people, and the rooms are amazing - more space than we knew what to do with and everything felt new. The bed was fantastic, super-comfortable. Didn't eat at the restaurant, but the breakfast was excellent. The location is easy for walking around Milna - it's a lovely hotel in a beautiful place - highly recommended, hope we can visit again.'

'The hotel was outstanding! Room was large and comfortable, with every imaginable amenity available. Everything was high tech and top quality, and the location was unbeatable, just steps away from the ferry port and the main attractions in the island. Breakfast was great, and service fantastic, including awesome recommendations for tour guides and restaurants. Overall, an outstanding experience in Hvar, and could not recommend Villa Porta Maestra enough.'

'Alles in klassieke stijl met veel ruimte en prachtig meubilair voor wie er van houdt. Echt zoals de foto's. Het ligt op 1 km van het dock van de Jadrolina ferry aan de jachthaven met een fantastisch uitzicht en zeer prettig en behulpzaam personeel. grote aanrader!'

'Really enjoyed our stay here, staff were fabulous and helped me swiftly with a small issue. The room with a sea view was lovely and spacious - a suite with nice living area such a lovely bonus, beautiful and clean. Breakfast was in an outside area overlooking the harbour which we liked very much. Choices were adequate, although we did find that the self service area was cramped and as I am only just over 5ft tall, quite difficult to reach some items on higher shelves. Overall a lovely stay,...
