'Great free breakfast with a couple options. The room was very nice and the property was well-maintained. It was situated just off the main road towards one end of the strip, so you’re away from most of the hustle and bustle and won’t get a lot of noise from outside. That being said, it was only about a 3-5 minute walk to get to the downtown area where all of the action is, so it felt like the perfect in-between.'

'Saltair Inn is fabulous. Our room was beautiful and had a very cozy feel, with a fantastic view. The hosts were great, and breakfast was terrific. It was within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this B&B and will not hesitate to stay there again.'

'This was a small room. Fine for one person, but could be a nuisance for a pair if they have significant luggage. The shower is cramped. Easy to get in. I didn't initially realize there were more supplies in the office downstairs (soap, creamer, etc.). There is also a general store & gas less than a mile to the west. The location is a bit further from both Acadia and Bar Harbor than most options, but not significantly so where you'd have to really plan for extra time to get anywhere. The nearby...

'It’s a smallish room, but that’s what we were looking for. This has it all! The room has a smallish bathroom off the corner. Toilet, sink, mirror - it’s all you need. Everything worked as it should. Has air conditioning, but we didn’t use it. Has heat, but we didn’t use it. Has 3 nice windows and blinds. Has a good sized flat TV, but again, we didn’t use it.
