'The blonde woman at the check-in was very warm and welcoming. We were early and our room was not ready, but she said that she would call or text when it was. 'The Dunes at Tybee Island is my go-to hotel. The place is old but very well maintained. The beds are very comfortable, and the air conditioning is nice and cold after a long day at the beach. The kitchen is a huge bonus, but restaurants are within walking distance. The pier and beach are a few blocks from your door. The pool is just steps from your room and so clean and refreshing. 'Great location, clean rooms, friendly staff. Would have given it a 5 star but parking was horrible. The spots are to close together. To the point my husband had to get in the passenger seat and crawl over to the driver seat because you could not even walk between our car and the one next to us. The spaces have little to no room to get in and out of the car.'
