« This is a very relaxing site on Lake Sturgeon. The large main room has a great view of the lake, which is just a few steps away. The house is stocked with plenty of kitchen supplies, plus many games and movies if you're stuck inside. The host, Stephen, is a warm and friendly man who will make things right if you should have any problems. »

« We had a nice relaxing weekend here! Beds were comfy. Plenty of space. Hunter was easy to communicate with. We had bad weather but seems like the lake would be great for fishing! »

« We had a wonderful time at Dorado Cottage. The place is spotless, very well appointed, and had excellent air conditioning. The pictures of the place DO NOT deceive. It was very hot and we loved being able to come into the air conditioned cottage when we couldn't bear the heat. There were four of us senior women, and we appreciated the owners quick response to any concerns. Note to other seniors, there are stairs but they are manageable. « Absolutely loved our stay at the Boathouse. The host (Sarah) and staff (Lauchie) were extremely responsive, friendly and helpful. The view from the main living space was incredible - having dinner on the balcony, overlooking Cameron Lake while the sun was setting was absolute perfection. « We ended up spending more at The Little Red Cottage than expected simply because it was such a lovely spot. The large front porch and back deck were perfect for lounging and conversation. The inside was immaculate and well stocked. I loved that the kitchen knifes were actually sharp, there was extra toilet paper provided, there were lots of towels (beach towels and bath towels) and the mattresses were new and comfortable - no big valley in the middle! « The unkept and neglected exterior led to a grubby interior. One of the plastic deck chairs was broken and unusable. Floors were dirty and left our socks grey; there was pink mould in the tub & shower stalls, black mould on the water level of one toilet and no one had cleaned the ceiling ventilation fans or behind the toilets in either bathroom. « This well appointed, comfortable and clean location was ideal for our 11 person, multi-generational family reunion. Everything was as advertised and interactions with Warren and Ron were friendly and efficient. Only caveat would be that stairs inside and out are steep, so might not be the best for people with mobility limitations. »
