'Excellent traditional experience, onsen is great and the traditional food sets (both breakfast and dinner) are very nice. Only problems I had overall were maintaince going on during my stay (landscaping and some light building work), and some parts of the building are showing their age (especially in the onsen and lobby areas). Bonus note, some of the hole in the wall restaurants nearby are excellent and the rual area nearby is great for a break from the big cities (it has that fresh air...

'Beautiful property! A little oasis tucked away from the hustle of Hakata but still centrally located. Staff was friendly, english speaking and super helpful. Our room was upgraded and we were blown away by the size, cleanliness and generous amenities offered. This is a small boutique hotel so there is amazing attention to detail from complimentary drink offerings in your mini fridge to a pleasant top floor retreat where complimentary snacks, coffee and even alcoholic beverages are offered...
