'Pete was super friendly and helpful with reorganising rooms for us and then delivering great breakfasts during our 3 night stay.'

'On arrival we were upgraded to a larger room which was lovely. Vicky showed us to our room and she was very friendly and gave some helpful advice about issues we had trying to get to the shopping centre. We really enjoyed our overnight stay which had been booked in conjunction with a trip on the Waverley. Our continental breakfast was really good although I would have loved a hard boiled egg! 'Luckily our stay was during the good weather, the pool and sauna was good but, think it could have been quite bleak if it had been rainy. Our room looked tired and the 2 seater couch was very grubby and the cushions were sunken. The restaurant looked like a staff canteen with all the formica tables and the food was very disappointing, no Michelin chef here! The food was cold and bland, breakfast was not cooked to order, that was also cold. I ordered porridge one morning , the waitress assured...

'Stay was fine - bed was comfortable enough, woken up around 6am because the floor boards creaked so much when the upstairs guests were moving about. Floor boards also creaked in our room - really annoying more than anything. Breakfast was fine - continental breakfast selection was nice, ordered cooked breakfast was a bit cold, thought it would have been fresh but seemed to be taken from a cool enough hot plate.'
