Cabin was nice! Plenty of room for my family as we were here for daughter’s wedding at Echo Mountain. Loved the openness of the great room and kitchen! I would say the only down side was that shower heads need to be cleaned or replaced for better spray and the dishwasher door fell to the floor when opening. Small things that need attention. But overall we enjoyed this great space.

Great location just outside of Idaho Springs. Beautiful views and property! Communication with management company wasn’t great. Many messages went unanswered until immediately before trip. House is showing signs of wear and tear and some things should be replaced/updated. Large bedrooms and well laid out floor plan. Was perfect for our family of 5. Easy access to downtown Idaho Springs and all its restaurants and shops!

Snow storm vacation

Beautiful home in a great location. Just as described. We arrived during a snow storm which would have been lovely to experience in this well appointed home had we not had a schedule to keep with a wedding to attend. We wish we could have spent all 3 days in the hot tub, using the fire place and just viewing the beautiful setting. Despite having AWD, driveway was difficult to manage with the amount of snow until we were able to get into town to get snow chains for the tires. Only one shovel, no salt and difficulty with communication via text, cell phone or internet to request snow removal so safe travels could be had was a bit precarious when attempting to keep a schedule. There is now a second shovel and salt was left for the next time there is a need. Internet and cell service was not easy to access at the home and only until you get close to downtown is there consistent service(at least during the time we were there in a snow storm). Once communication was established for snow removal, the service did a great job. We would love to go back and spend more time in the home, without the snow preferably, so different time of year. It was truly an easy check in/out, well equipped home in a beautiful setting.

Great House

My family of 6 stayed here. Plenty of room. We enjoyed the hot tub and movie night in the cinema room. Easy to use instructions. House was clean. Location was 5 minute drive to town. Great restaurants downtown and shops for shopping. The house is close to the street so we did notice the traffic noise, if you have the house windows open. The rapid creek next to the house is awesome, but it was loud, especially when using the hot tub on the deck. Overall great house. I would recommend this house!

Great property that my family stayed at for a wedding nearby. Should mention there are 2 pack and plays at the property that we didn't know about! Helpful for us with little ones. Theater room was a big hit!

Nice stay for our group of 6 when we attended a concert at Red Rocks Amphitheater.. Plenty of room for entertaining, well stocked kitchen. There were a ew supplies like coffee, sugar, paper towels, in stock. Nicely equipped bar. Hot tub next to the creek is a lovely touch. Newly built/furnished, tasteful decor. Disappointed in the no early check in policy. Poor vacuum job & hairball in the master shower. Advertised price was a scam as the “fees” added doubled the cost.

Beautiful house

Very nice and clean and extremely close to Blackstone river’s ranch which was great. I wish they offered an earlier check in. 4:00 is late and they weren’t flexible like I’ve experienced with other properties. The deck and hot tub are nice except for the road noise.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

Absolutely loved it. All of it. I can't say enough wonderful things. It's so close to everything yet far enough and tucked away to feel like like a true retreat from it all. The rushing creek just steps from the porch was so tranquil and beautiful. The quaint town just down the road provided so much in such a short distance. The home itself is perfectly appointed and stocked for guests' needs. We could not have been more pleased!

Perfect family gathering spot

We rented the property to house our extended family who had come in to town for my daughter’s wedding at Blackstone Rivers Ranch. It was the perfect spot for us. The layout gave everyone privacy. The public gathering spaces are large and comfortable and the hot tub was wonderful. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook meals. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of sheets and towels. I highly recommend this rental.

Outstanding Place in Idaho Springs

This lodge like home was outstanding for our family stay. The creek running through the property was an added bonus. All the rooms were spacious. Each family member had their own private space. You can enjoy sitting on the deck with the views of the mountains and trees! The hot tub was great to use on the deck while listening to the creek. We had great communication with our host the entire time with any questions we had. Plenty of parking! The kitchen and family room very open for spending time together. Only minutes from restaurants, shops, hiking, rafting, and much more! We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home- highly recommend

This property was great for our family! It had a cabin in the woods feel, but was located just down the road from town. The cabin was decorated beautifully and was fully stocked as if someone lives there (e.g toiletries, kitchen utensils, full set of pots and pans, and even some basic kitchen staples). There was decent privacy as well from the neighboring cabin- you could not see them from the house, but could if you walked down the driveway. A beautiful creek ran right in front of the house, and there was a private fire pit area to the side. We had 4 kids with us, ages 5-12, and the cabin was their favorite thing from the trip!

Cabin style home with quirks

The layout of the home was nice, with the lower level cinema room with projector being a big hit! We loved the real fireplace, and Safeway grocery in town sells wood. Communication with property management was good with a fast response time. Note: The master bedroom bathroom does not have a door so you see right into the bathroom and shower from the bed, and the toilet is around the corner with no privacy door. This should be noted in the listing description as this was very inconvenient for us! Also note the bunkbed room door is sliding barn doors that do not close tightly, are loud, and there is no wall to the ceiling above the door which renders that room not private at all. The door next to the fireplace that should walk out onto the balcony was permanently locked and we wanted to keep that door open to enjoy the front porch. There's only four chairs at the kitchen table, we would suggest some folding chairs so that a family can sit together. Good location close to town, but note there is no yard for kids to run around and it's right off of the road. We were in town for our daughters wedding putting the house just 30 minutes from the Northstar gathering venue it was held at. House was well stocked with dishware and glassware, plenty of paper products and garbage bags and cleaners, local coffee in the fridge was a fun plus as well as the spices and each shower had shampoo and conditioner! Suggestions: A coffee maker that has auto shut off, an electric tea kettle, plastic cutting boards, more kitchen towels, and more bathroom washcloths. Replace the hot tub cover! The cover is saturated and heavy so a cover that is on a lift would be appropriate to make it easy for people to open and close the top. All the hot tub chemicals and tester strips were inside the closet in the house which was nice. Overall a convenient location close to town, a nicely decorated and updated interior. Thank you!

My sister and I decided to take our daughters who are in college on a winter getaway & this place was perfect. The home is stocked with everything necessary & the location is perfect! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and ate already planning a trip for next year!
