'The listing was reasonably priced, clean, cute, and well located. The actual cabin is located behind the house with the listed address creating confusion at check in. The bed was terrible. The foam mattress was placed on a bed with slats. Every movement made all night created a lot of noise. When you are staying in a place just to sleep, sleep is important. There is a lovely lighted closet with no hangers or suitcase racks. We would not stay again in spite of the advantages just because of...

'We've stayed there over several years and really enjoyed it. But its getting old. Front door lock and skeleton key were a nightmare. Several minutes of jiggling to get inside on arrival. Both of us tried, and then had great difficulty getting the key out of the lock. Same thing happened after we returned from a day of shopping. Took almost 20 minutes. 'This property was exactly what was expected. It is a little rustic cabin that is far enough off 290 to feel like you are not in the always busy Fredericksburg. It is small, but the 4 of us had a lovely time. Mornings on the porch swing were my fave.'
