Shower door won’t stay closed, not a dresser, shelf, or hook for clothing, oven not clean, rack in backwards and fell out, extreme floor slanting. 'We arrived at the cottage and there was a strange odour in the room. Then we noticed the furnishings were tattered and the cottage itself was poorly maintained. And though we paid we left after 10 minutes refusing to stay in this inferior cottage. We are now awaiting a refund.'

'The home was absolutely beautiful! It was clean, cozy and bright. The kitchen had all amenities we needed for the weekend including small appliances, ice and coffee. The self check-in process was super easy and the host was great at staying in touch with us. We didn't have children staying with us but the home is well outfitted for families with small children. We would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a cozy, quiet getaway. '

'The decor in the place is really nice & the hosts do not skimp out on supplies such as toilet paper & hand soap. The kitchen appliances were high end & it was very well stocked. They had a ton of board games & Netflix available for guests. There are plenty of water toys (kayaks, canoe, paddle boards) to make use of. The assorted life jackets came in handy for us as well.There were a few downsides though:* the water was not drinkable (since it is well water) and it had quite a putrid smell to it....

'My husband and I booked the cottage in early spring 2025 for our wedding ceremony and reception in May 2026.
