« My group of friends 40's-50's stayed here for a quick girls' getaway. The location is lovely located just outside town along the lake near farm land. We felt safe and I enjoyed walking near the cornfields. Denver is a cute town with everything you need within a 10-minute drive. The house is a perfect setup with everything you need to enjoy your trip. It is evident the host spent a great deal of time trying to think through every detail so you could enjoy your stay. « First, Georgia (homeowner) was outstanding with communication. Quick and clear responses to any questions. Second, the house was clean and convenient in a great location on the lake. The 2nd floor screened in deck with fans was where we spent most of our time playing games, eating and relaxing. We rented a boat from Georgia and she made it very convenient (offered to drop it off at our dock). 5 stars all around. »

« My family & I were in NC for my nephew’s graduation. Jamie’s place was perfect for our stay! It was very cute, cozy, and clean! Beds and pillows were comfortable and neighborhood was quiet. While we weren’t there for the lake, it was a nice bonus to be able to look out the front windows and see the lake or sit on the front deck and enjoy it! « We chose the Azaela Cottage b/c our daughter was holding her wedding 3 doors down. But it was perfect for the parents of the bride. Far enough away from all the wedding shenanigans, but close enough we could easily help w/anything required. B/c we were there for an occasion, we didn't get to experience all the cottage/lake amenities, but it was still a lovely place to unwind & enjoy our time away from home. Would love to stay again & see more of the area. »

« We throughly enjoyed our stay. It was very quite and peaceful. If you are a fisherman, this is the place for you. Owners responded within 10 minutes to any questions or concerns. Beds were very comfortable for a good night sleep. »

« We came in for a quick weekend for a swim meet in Clover. This location was perfect for us. The host has done a great job with this apartment. The decor is absolutely charming. I thought the kitchen was really well-stocked. We will stay here again for next year’s meet. »

« I enjoyed the location of this property and the responsiveness of the host. However, all the good pictures of the house are in the post. The floor was soft, the bathroom door had been kicked in at some point and didn’t even shut. There were holes in the ceiling from a previous leak, etc. I hope there is a place on this app that I can add the pics that I took »

« The simple home was everything but simple a great location , lots of space and things for both adults and children. We only wish it was warm enough to enjoy the pool. The house was clean and well stocked. And Teri was awesome. »

« We canoed and waded, bird watched, and ate on the screened in porch through rain. Clean, comfortable, and enough outdoor space for kids under 10 to play on and off the lake. Good place for a small family gathering! »

« I only gave 4 stars because our room had a terrible odor in it. Everything else was wonderful. Easy to check in the directions for the room were simple. The room was really clean and stocked with everything I would need . Just a strange odor. »
