We had a room with 2 queen beds. There was 1 very uncomfortable chair in the room. The only other furniture were the beds and a shelf. There was one stand for a suitcase. The other suitcase was on the floor which is difficult for seniors. The bedspread was very flimsy. There was no additional blanket. There was a night stand between the beds. It had enough room to charge my watch, phone, and iPad. My husband had to put his devices in the floor to charge them. There was no bureau in the room. I was very disappointed in the room. We had to switch rooms because the TV did not work and the maintenance staff quit at 3 pm. It was 6 when we checked in.
The breakfast room had furniture stacked in one area. And when you walked in the lobby, furniture was stacked in a side area. Not sure what was planned for the excess furniture.
The staff was great. The breakfast was ok.
I have stayed in a lot of La Quinta innâs and this was the worst. The staff was very friendly and I had no issues with them. I will say they are in the process of a much needed refurnishing but this was the worst one I ever stayed in.
Overall it is a nice facility. Room was clean and pool and hot tub area was smaller but nice. They were doing some renovations and there was construction material in the open but it was organized. Check in and out was smooth. The back door wouldn't open with a key so it was constantly propped open. The neighborhood was quiet and safe so the door was of little concern
