'Stuff in the kitchen didn't seem very clean. Hotel was good but other guests were not. Throughout the night could hear people talking in the hallways and doors slamming. Employees were all nice and helpful. '

'The hostel was awesome! We had our own room with bathroom and it was clean and comfortable. We even had our own shower, which I didn’t expect! So loved the breakfast selection and everyone there was so kind and friendly. If back in NOLA, I would definitely stay here again!!!'

'The refrigerator worked great along with our tv and air conditioner. This facility offered shampoo and conditioner in the room. We had our children stay with us, once we checked in I asked for 2 more large towels which no e were avaliable until 30 min and once housekeeping came to give me tje towels, they were still damp. 'Melrose Mansion is a great place to stay in, if you are visiting New Orleans. The rooms are very nice and spacious and have a great look & feel. Our room was very clean, which is quite important to us. Across the street is a bar, which sometimes had some loud guests, which is the only downside we can think of. The breakfast is sufficient and the staff is very kind & helpful. The pool is a nice addition to the overall stay. Highly recommended!'
