« Great location. Fabulous view and walking distance to the Sands for a great meal. House a little tired and inconvenient to have to take towels , linen and take the rubbish with you, particularly when you’re on a bike »

« Bruce is a great host, warm, friendly and helpful. The unit is spacious, clean, well equipped for cooking, furniture and linen are good quality. There is a sea view, and it is well located close to the Hokianga entrance, with good walks nearby. Also very close to the excellent local fish and chip/ takeaway. »

« We really enjoyed our 2 nights here. With 2 adults and 2 young children it was very snug, but the amount of space was good as a base for our adventures around the Hokianga. Sunny windows, beautiful view of the sandy north head from the window, lovely sounds of the sea at night. Very heavy rain overnight but we were high and dry, no issues. « Great spot, great host that second visit there has always been delightful to stay at so happy to make this a permanent spot for when I need to travel north and spend the night. Neighbouring restaurant was a bit of a let down sadly. »
