'Doesn't look like much from the outside as it's part of a larger complex but walk up a couple staircases and you'll get to the landing where the check-in desk is. Friendly helpful staff, and really nice spacious apartments. The excellent breakfast was included for me but it's only $3 otherwise, well worth it, they bring it right to your room. 'A neat affordable welcoming hotel in a quiet neighbourhood on the island of Zamalek. Moving around requires taxis while in Downtown or Dokki one might be closer to a metro. But taxis in Cairo are very affordable, only during part of the day the traffic is slow. Soon there will be a metro station on Zamalek too. 'All staff are extremely friendly and service minded - worthy of a 5-star accomodation. The rooms are a bit tired, although comfortable. Bathroom small - if you are over 1,80 you will not be able to stand in the bathtub to take a shower. Hotel is beautifully located and the gardens are an absolute pleasure to spend some warm evenings enjoying a drink or waterpipe. '

'Ik ging naar Cairo om het Egyptisch Museum te bezoeken en om daar te mogen fotograferen. Gezien de veiligheidssituatie in Egypte zocht ik een hotel dat zeer dicht bij het museum lag. Daarom kwam alleen dit hotel in aanmerking. Het hotel, dat vroeger Nile Hilton heette, is na een grondige 8 jaar durende verbouwing omgedoopt tot het Nile Ritz-Carlton Hotel. Ik ben uitermate tevreden over het hotel. Als ik een cijfer zou moeten geven zou dat een 9 zijn.'
