'This was a perfect getaway weekend! The lodge is in a remote area, which is so quiet. We enjoyed kayaking, going for a boat ride with the owner, Gary, and just walking around the village.Peggy stayed in touch with me throughout the time before our visit as well as during the visit even though she was not able to be there for the weekend. Debbie was our hostess and she was wonderful! The lodge is so unique and comfortable.'

'We stayed Sunday - Wednesday at Riverside Lodge. The Lodge was beautiful. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic and Hooper Island was breath taking. We were able to take a boat ride to tour around the island and grad a little history and enjoy the stories. If you looking for a place to relax and renew... this is the place. '

'The inn was in a great location. The price for the off season seemed ok. The man checking us in did a great job. There is a pool, but we were there in the spring. I saw a laundry area for the guests to use. Our room was a bit run down and we saw dirt in the corners of the bathroom and the ceiling looked like it leaked at one time. '

'Hotel was way nicer than I expected ! Gym had enough equipment, pool looked nice but was closed , staff was sooooo nice! We were there for a Salisbury Univ acceptance day and she was kind enough to congratulate my kids and Good luck , just above and beyond can make all the difference, especially when you so t expect it'
