We loved this property!Upon arrival, the unit was clean and neat. The king size bed was very comfortable and the living room pullout was quite comfortable as well. The kitchen had everything we needed and the in unit laundry is always a plus!! Bath and pool towels were provided as well as beach chairs and a cooler for your adventures!!The property is very well maintained. It is a quiet little spot perfect for enjoying a beautiful Maui sunset. The property has barbecue grills available for guests who want to cook! The pool was kept spotless and at a comfortable temperature for a swim after a day in the sun. And, the view was absolutely spectacular!Overall, we loved our stay at the Hoyochi Nikko and would definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hoyochi Nikko. We will definitely be back, and we hope to stay in this unit again. Overall, the unit was clean and had everything we needed. A vacation to remember

This property was perfect. It had exactly what we wanted. Walk out room to a private pool and then steps away to the ocean for snorkeling. Turtles actually swam by multiple times a day. It’s absolutely breathtaking.

Fantastic Views and Location!

Two of my sisters and I enjoyed a fantastic week at our Hoyochi Nikko condo. The unit is small, but efficient, and had everything we needed. Both the king and pull-out beds are comfortable. The bedroom has floor-to-ceiling mirrored closet doors, which was helpful in providing a second area for doing our hair and makeup. The views from the condo and lanai are spectacular, and the complex has a very nice pool and lots of seating in the grassy and sandy areas just beyond the pool. We also loved the community feel of this smaller complex. While there was no sandy beach at the condo while we were there, the direct ocean access was still great for swimming and snorkeling, and it was so fun to see some sea turtles. The complex is centrally located in west Maui, with Ka’anapali and Lahaina to the south and Kapalua to the north. There is a beautiful Coastal hiking trail at Kapalua and the beaches there also look great, as are the beaches at Ka’anapali just a few minutes south.

Perfect Spot

We cannot say enough good things about this property, and Maui in general. We loved our stay. This location was very convenient to get to great beaches and Lahaina. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. It is a little tight quarters. We are a family of three; our son is 8, so he slept on the couch. We were all comfortable. The view of the ocean from the kitchen and living room was heavenly. Sitting on the patio was our favorite thing to do. The people who work on property are absolutely lovely individuals. Great communication and so helpful. We plan to come back. We are in love! Thank you!

Excellent location for a relaxing vacation!

Incredible view and close proximity to the beach is an understatement. Beautiful ocean view every day and sunsets every night. Literally a few steps from the beach. If you're looking for a relaxing experience away from the crowded resorts, it would be hard to beat this location. The condo itself is very nice with comfortable beds, including the sofa-bed which was much more comfortable than expected.

Wonderful location and view!

This unit was perfect for our family of 3 and short stay. We stayed 5 nights. The location is perfect! Close to many local markets and beautiful beaches that are perfect for little ones to snorkel and swim. There is a supermarket called farmer's market that I loved because they have organic healthy options also very close to ABC market. We saw whales from our unit and saw turtles snorkeling! The property is well maintained. There are just a couple of thing that I would say I didn't like but it's not a big deal at all. Lots of pros compared to cons! Pros: location, view, pool and beach right out front Well maintained, close to other beaches and Stores. Washer dryer in unit. kitchen stockd With everything you need. Cons: Very small bedroom and is located right on main road. Need improvement for better Shades to block the lights from outside. Kinda noisy. We decided to sleep on the pull Pull out coach so we could hear the ocean Instead of the cars driving by. The washer smelled very strongly of mildew! I could smell it even with the door closed!!

Great ocean front property

My husband and I stayed here and were joined by 2 adult daughters for part of our stay. The condo is small and with 4 adults was tight, but definitely manageable. When just the two of us were there, it felt very spacious. Decor and furnishings were clean and updated. Kitchen had all necessary kitchenware. The lanai was perfect for this group. We used outdoor grills and ate outside every day. We loved watching whales breaching too. Great location for exploring beaches, golf courses, and the town of Lahaina. Everything we needed for the beach (towels, chairs, cooler) was provided. Other visitors have mentioned the small parking spot. Our rental was a jeep 4X4 and fit in the spot. We would recommend this property.

Beautiful Property but no private beach

The location is perfect and nearby to other best places/beaches in Maui. Its a small condo comfortable just for a small sized family as the living room is small. The views from patio are great and you will be looking at ocean over the pool. The condo is modern with all upgraded appliances/furniture and it was in very clean condition. We were there in December first week and after check-in we found out that there was no private beach. You will see a nice little picture of private beach listed in pictures but we didn't see that during our stay at the property. So we had to drive around to public beaches which was not what we wanted during covid times. The pool was good and you will have a very nice view of the ocean. Other than missing private beach everything was pretty good and will definitely recommend this property for location and cleanliness.

Great location in a quieter area but with good access for daytripping around the island. Kitchen was well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. Excellent lighting throughout for the readers. Snorkeling from the property was easy and there were always turtles. The bbq's were well maintained and clean. Only drawback of the complex was that there were not pool rules or quiet times for pool use. Which meant that if kids were in it with flippers, noodles toys and blow ups, you were out of luck. It's a small pool. The unit itself also does need some new sheets, as the ones provided were threadbare.

Exactly What We Wanted!

We stayed at this property for a week the end of July - first of August 2021. Small complex (16-18 units) with rare private beach access. Definitely not a resort, though there were larger resort style developments on either side of the complex that can use the beach area as well. Pictures of the unit and grounds (pool - beach) are accurate. Clean and nicely maintained. Kitchen was very updated and had everything we needed +. Washer/Dryer. Comfortable bedroom, nice linens, storage underneath the bed and a perfectly adequate closet. Bathroom, was small but adequate with great water pressure! Living area is small but again adequate with nice TV cable/satellite. Patio and patio furniture were perfect. Being on the ground floor was definitely a plus for us! There is a 6' retaining wall that does not block your view of the ocean but provides privacy from anyone looking towards the unit from the beach. Grounds were nice, well landscaped and maintained with two very nice grills 75' from the patio. Beach is narrow - maybe 25 - 30' wide when we were there and a couple of hundred feet long. It was never crowded (25 people tops) at any one time with most of those swimming or snorkeling. Be sure to bring or rent snorkel equipment - $50 a person for the week at Snorkel Bob's right down the road. Plenty of places to eat or shop in the area and many more within 10-15 minutes. The ocean was nice, almost swimming pool clear with a sandy bottom. There are rocky areas under the water with all kinds of fish and plenty of sea turtles. In the afternoon the sea turtles would come on the beach and sun for a few hours - pretty cool! Check in was a breeze with great communication. Having a reserved parking space was sweet! Plenty of room for a compact to midsize car or small SUV. Space was 9'x16' so use that as a guide when renting. I do not really have any negatives. The unit sits close to a road so at times there was some road noise in the bedroom - but hardly worth mentioning. There is a window unit in the bedroom that worked well and made for a great nights sleep. The rest of the unit was warm during the late afternoon early evening. Probably a non-issue most of the year. We found that using the blinds as instructed helped immensely and opening both the front and patio door cooled everything down after sunset. Would be tough for 4 adults but ok with 2 adults & 2 children. We will absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this unit. DEFINITELY FIVE STARS

Great little place to spend our honeymoon!

Amazing location away from the crowds of the big resorts. Private beach and pool, shared with the 18 total units of Hoyochi Nikko. Walked right out the sliding door to the patio, the pool and the ocean... a total of 20 steps. Easy check-in/check-out. Management was communicative a few times during our stay, but we never had any issues that needed to be resolved. Beach chairs and the cooler for the unit came in very handy, and there were pool/water floats available from the building association. Spoke to a few families who say they keep returning to Hoyochi Nikko year after year. Great place... will definitely be back!

Breathtaking

If you are looking for peace and quiet- away from the mega condo complexes, then this is the place for you! Everything was comfortable, beautifully decorated, and the views are breathtaking. Can’t wait to return one day!
