The building, which houses other permanently rented apartments, was originally the Hohen Wangelin manor house and was used as a holiday resort after reunification. There is a large roof terrace (50 square metres) with barbecue facilities as well as sunbathing areas, sun loungers, a storage room for bicycles and parking spaces. The total price includes bed linen, towels, water, energy and final cleaning. WLAN is also available free of charge. The Orthsee is a beautiful swimming and fishing lake with a good stock of fish, access to the beach is around 400 metres away at the end of the village. Another beautiful natural bathing area with jetty and large sunbathing lawn is located in neighbouring Linstow, 2 km away, on Lake Linstow.

The town of Hohen Wangelin is located on the edge of the densely wooded Nossentiner-Schwinzer Heide Nature Park, approx. 10 km from the climatic health resort of Krakow am See. The Müritz National Park with its numerous hiking and excursion possibilities can be reached in approx. 30 km. The Hanseatic city of Rostock and the Baltic Sea can be reached in approx. 40 minutes thanks to the convenient location on the A 19 motorway (1 km). The Linstow adventure pool promises bathing fun, especially on cooler days.
