  • Come enjoy this lovely three bedroom three bathroom villa located very close to the pool in Fazio Villas within Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort! Fazio Villas is centrally located, making it very easy to get to the beach, George Fazio and Robert Trent Jones Golf courses, General Store, Alexander's Restaurant and Palmetto Dunes Outfitters.

    The kitchen is spacious and provides a lot of storage and workspace. The kitchen will be fully-equipped as well which makes home-cooked meals an easy task. The kitchen boasts custom cabinetry, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. At the end of the kitchen is a breakfast nook, while adjacent to the kitchen is a formal dining area which comfortably seats six.

    The living area is large and has plenty of comfortable seating for your whole family, a wall-mounted Smart TV and access to your private deck.

    Completing the downstairs areas is a guest bedroom with a queen bed, which could double as a second primary bedroom and a full bathroom with walk-in shower.

    Upstairs is the primary bedroom and a second guest bedroom. The primary bedroom consists of a king bed, HDTV and an en-suite primary bathroom with double sink vanity and tub and shower combination. The guest bedroom has a king, HDTV and its own en-suite guest bathroom with a walk-in shower.

    Outside you'll enjoy your private deck with outdoor dining! Down a few steps off your back deck about 100 feet away is the community pool area! The beach is easily accessed by a short walk or bike ride, or by calling the Palmetto Dunes Buggy, which is a seasonal and on-call free shuttle service which runs within Palmetto Dunes and Shelter Cove Marina!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time in Hilton Head at Palmetto Dunes. This was a great villa for a golf trip. We were close to all the courses. Walking distance to the general store, pickleball courts and restaurant. The villa was clean, stocked with all amenities. Games and puzzles when you were done with golf. Overall great place we will be back.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit could use some updating, but it was very large and comfortable for our two-week stay. All 3 beds were comfortable, but a TV in the downstairs bedroom would have been nice, as well as a screen in the window for fresh air. We discovered a broken chair at the dining table, and it was promptly removed from the unit. The kitchen was well-stocked, with an adequate dishwasher, washer, and dryer. The unit has a large, private deck with a view of the pool which is very close. We didn’t use the gas grill on the deck. Beach access and the pickle ball courts are only a short walk away. When we arrived for our stay, it was incredibly disappointing to discover the filthy condition of the carpet in the unit. It was inexcusably filthy. We reported it at check-in, and a carpet cleaning company was sent out right away. The difference after cleaning was alarming. Upon booking the unit, I had also requested that the unit be dusted adequately due to my dust allergy, but my written request was not honored. There was a very thick dust build-up on top of the vertical blinds in the master, as well as the lights in the stairway, and over the dining table. There were also fruit loops under the sectional as well as a lot of dirt and dust. The sectional and pillows were also visibly dirty, and we had to cover them with sheets.We can easily deal with outdated furnishings and understand the wear and tear that rental units endure. But to actually rent a unit in this unsanitary condition is completely unacceptable.

Disappointed and bewildered

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: WE have been renting at Pamletto Dunes for many years and always look forward to our return trips. It is a welcome relief for our mental as well as physical well-being. This year we found ourselves in a unit that has been neglected. Although we can work around many things, the fact that a chair virtually collapsed when sat on (no I am not overweight) we found dead cockroach remains in the doorway, something unmentionable splattered on the walls of the bathroom, the final hit came when the from stairs were demolished making access very difficult. Unfortunately, we only could lock the front door. It was suggested that we could come and go by a side entrance but we could not lock those accesses. Being in a customer service-forward business, I understand that anger is not helpful. I very calmly went to the office since my 3 phone calls to the property manager went unanswered only to be told that if I was going to be difficult they would have to call the police, The woman sitting at the desk looked at the man telling me this with a look of disbelief. If this is how you train your desk personal, I understand why the properties are left in the condition they are. No one seemed to be willing to take responsibility for any of the lack of respect to your guests. We finally did hear from someone, and may I say we were not looking for a free stay, just an acknowledgment of the inconvenience and a simple "we are sorry" that did not come. Three simple words can make a difference. I hope if we rent again, we will have a difference experience.
