* Palmetto Dunes is a gated community in which every vehicle must have a gate pass for entry. One gate pass is included with your reservation at the time of booking. If you require additional passes, please request the exact number needed to ensure they are prepared in advance. Each pass has a fee of $35. All gate passes must be picked up at the host2coast office prior to entry.
* Free access to The Dunes Buggy transportation which provides courtesy transportation within Palmetto Dunes, Leamington, and Shelter Cove mid-March through mid-September. This on-demand service dispatches vehicles on a first-come, first-serve basis!

Disappointed

This was the first time I have ever rented a pet friendly property, and the last. It was filthy with previous pet hair and my little dog was covered in other pet hair. She ate an entire meal of crumbs off the living room rug, and brought a rotten banana out from under the sofa. Besides the pet hair problem, the base boards looked as if they have never been cleaned. We left 3 days early because we could not stand it one minute longer. The management company did send someone over to clean under the beds and furniture, but it was still pretty dirty. I only did laundry one time because the dryer screamed so loud we had to leave while the clothes were drying, and the air conditioner could not cool below 70. Overall, the condo needs a lot of work!

Great Getaway!

My husband and I spent four nights with our pooch in this cute condo! We had rental bikes delivered and really enjoyed walking and biking everywhere on and around the property. Very quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors! We enjoyed having coffee on the gated patio and watching the turtles and (small) alligator swim around. Kitchen was well-stocked with everything you could want - just remember to bring salt & pepper! We would definitely stay here again - our dog was in love with the area!

Nice condo in Palmetto Dunes

The property was nice and comfortable but was not cleaned well and had some maintenance issues. I contacted the company and they took action and were great to deal with. I would stay with them again.

There has been paint touched up with a color that totally doesn’t match the wall. There was chewed gum stuck to the comforter.

Nice Condo

Nice deck with pretty view of the lake--many turtles, ducks, alligators to watch. Condo suited our needs for a family of 4. Short bike ride to the beach and the pool was close.

Perfect getaway

We had a wonderful time ! The only drawback was the lack of parking late at night! We had no assigned parking and were woken up at 1130 at night by de irony ordering us to remove car that was parked just like other cars off the road on the weeds. The community officer made my husband Park a 6 minute walk away . The next morning I went to look for our car to pick up breakfast and could not find it! Very frustrating! So one morning was interrupted and 2 nights inconvenienced . The other night no one said anything!

Great stay in Hilton Head

The rental property and company were fantastic. It was exactly as described from the online photos. Sunset Rentals was great at answering any questions/ concerns beforehand, and quick to respond during the visit. The location within Palmetto Dunes was great, we walked to the beach, a few restaurants and rented bikes (I highly recommend this!) We brought our 2 dogs with, and it was perfect with all tile floors and a small yard off of the deck. The furniture seemed new, and the beds are very comfortable. The general area/ island is beautiful- there is so much to do here, we will definitely come back!

I have stayed in the complex Queens Grant several times but the unit I rented was in a terrible location, poorly designed space and poorly maintained, the listing said it was newly renovated. If so, the owner got ripped off
