The villa is located on the 3rd floor overlooking where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Calibogue Sound. Guests can enjoy watching dolphins or taking in gorgeous sunsets from the balcony. Great bedroom separation provides guests with plenty of privacy.

I've stayed in another unit in this building multiple times, that costs significantly more, but this unit is much preferred. It is clear there have been some renovations to the kitchen, common areas, and bathrooms. Being an older unit, there are some signs of being lived in, however these did not bother us one bit. However, if you are a stickler for spotlessness, these minor issues may bother you (dust on return vents, walls in bedrooms/bathrooms could use a wipe down or fresh coat of paint, a few small stains on some of the linens). Overall though, none of these issues bothered us as it was clear everything was cleaned. Beds were comfortable, and views weren't bad though mildly obstructed. Kitchen stocked, showers and tubs work well. Building is quiet, short walk to beach, pool is well kept. Though there is construction at the Salty Dog Marina, we still walked over multiple times to enjoy dinner and drinks. The updates to the area (pickleball courts, paths, street updates) are welcome additions. We will definitely book again in the future!

Overall a nice location, well done remodel so interior very good. The building is showing its age and needs upgrades like painting and general O&M, hopefully that will be done in the near future to go along with the interior work already done by the owner.

Labor Day Getaway

Stayed four nights over Labor Day and was a very nice corner unit with nobody above you. The property was as listed which is always a nice thing. We’ve stayed in other units in this building so knew what to expect.

Hurricane Debby

We were there during hurricane debby and the condo was still perfect - never lost power. Everything was exactly as described and expected. The kitchen had everything that one could want or need. The bedrooms were huge (king w/two chairs in one bedroom and the other bedroom had a king and queen). The bathrooms were nice and spacious. The condo location was right across the street from the South Beach Marina (Salty Dog). The pool was big and the overall property was clean and quiet. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing place for our family of 4

We had the best time at this South Beach property. The unit was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location is amazing and we love being on the bay and watching the boats come and go each day. The option to have chairs and an umbrella set up each day was nice too. The boys did some fishing and caught some sting rays and even a baby shark! And we loved looking at the deer in the sea dunes every evening when they came out to eat! Again, a great location - we have been to Hilton Head many times, but never stayed in South Beach and will definitely be back!

South Beach Getaway

We really enjoyed staying at this property! The view of the Sound is breathtaking and then when you add the natural beauty of the landscape, butterflies everywhere, dolphins, deer, native birds, it was a little piece of Heaven. The condo was nice. The beds were really comfortable and the layout of the place was great. There was not alot of space in the closets because they were quite full of the owners belongings. We would definitely stay here again, and are hoping that it will be sooner rather than later.

Beautiful unit with everything for a wonderful family vacation. Great 3rd floor views of the ocean from all 3 balconies. The pool and grills completed the relaxing, end of summer, beach vibe.

Comfortable and nice

The unit is lovely, but as with any property by the beach has a few water issues. The vents in one bedroom was covered in mold, which was concerning, especially since it was the room where our kids were stating. Additionally, there was an hvac issue when we first arrived, where the condensed water from the a/c overflowed and flooded the floors, leading to water under the floorboards and soaking the rugs in other rooms. The company very quickly resolved the hvac issue, but the rugs were wet for days, which was also very concerning from a mold perspective. We asked for fans to help aerate the rugs and that helped. None of these things were detrimental to our stay, or surprising, as we have a fair amount of experience with beach rentals, but it also didn't leave us fully comfortable.

Relaxing Beach Stay

After selling our family house on Hilton Head Island, we needed to find a new place for vacation. This condo was absolutely perfect for us! Fantastic location near South Beach, beautiful view of the water through the pine trees, easy access to the beach and a private pool. Any time we had a question, the management company was extremely helpful and available.
