'My family loved our stay in the Ohana Cottage. The house is clean and the beds are really comfortable. Diana is incredibly kind and very responsive. My mom has mobility issues and Diana went out of her way to make sure she had easy access to the house. I highly recommend the Ohana Cottage! Thanks, Diana!'

'We LOVED our 2 night stay here. It was so relaxing and exactly what was described. It was a bit of nature, fruit trees and peace. We had excellent communication with the hosts. The outdoor shower was pretty cool. We really can’t say enough good about it. Will 100% stay here again when returning to Hilo side of the island.'

'Perfect little house located just outside Pahoa. 5 Minute drive puts you downtown, or on the HI-way to whatever destination for the day! Very clean and comfortable. If you are traveling to Pahoa it is perfect size for a family of 3 or 4 I recommend this spot !'

'We had a wonderful time staying at Mark's place and visiting the NP. Mark is a great host and was invaluable in alerting us to the latest eruptions. Thanks to him, we were able to witness the eruption on July 9th, which was an amazing 1,200 foot tall fountain of lava. You can really tell that Mark put some thought into the cottage and its amenities. We had everything we needed for our visit. Highly recommended!'

'The cottage was fantastic. Had all the amenities. It was in a quiet neighborhood, with a view of a golf course, but easy driving distance to the Volcanoes National Park and the town of Volcano. We were very busy seeing the various attractions of the island, such as waterfalls, the black sand beach and South Point, and hiking in the National Park. We wished we could have spent more time at the cottage. Highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again. '

'Wonderful cottage nestled in a rainforest setting, far back from the road. It was clean, comfortable, ample towels and bedding/blankets. Every room had night lights and switches were clearly labeled. Perfect for two couples, matching en-suite bedrooms. And so close to Hawaii Volcanoes NP, made it easy for us to be there early. Sorry we didn't plan a longer stay. '

'We had a great stay. Pictures represent the property well. The place is about 20 minutes from Pahoa city-center (if that’s helpful). Met Sean who shared some insights about the area and local cuisine. Ashley was great at communicating and checking in with us via VRBO messages. Overall we had a really nice time in the area and were grateful to have a peaceful place to stay as we explored this side of the Island.'
