This cabin was a great option for anyone looking for a âglampingâ experience. It comes with 2 window AC units (one in the kitchen & one in the master bedroom). There have been a few misc. property updates which gives this cabin a quirky, rustic feeling, but it worked out great as a place to rest and recover with the family after being out all day. We went over a holiday weekend and the property manager kindly reached out with some local activities going on too!!
If youâre a group of 20 year old boys toting 6 cases of cheap beer this shack is for you! If not, this is your warning.Upon arrival it was immediately clear this was not the âcabinâ we had envisioned. Itâs not a cabin at all. Nor is it located in a cozy, wooded, secluded cabin-y area. Check the street view folks. Itâs in a row of unkempt shacks on a rather busy road. We immediately had to make a run for the store as we were not provided any paper towels or dish towels nor an adequate amount of toilet paper. There were only 3 blankets in the place and the only AC was a window unit in the kitchen as far away from the bedrooms as possible. It was nice and toasty! Nearly every fixture fell apart on us at some point during our stay and you will shower in a trickle of water. Bring your own broom-there were clear instructions to sweep the floors but there wasnât a broom to be found. The beds were not very comfortable but I guess it beats sleeping in your car, maybe. Also, be prepared to beg for check in instructions.Have a great time!
