Spectacular Log Home with Private Lake Access

WELCOME TO DEEP MOUNTAIN LODGE! This state-of-the-art log home was completely renovated in 2019. Situated on 10+ acres of forested woodland, this is a wonderful destination for one- or two-family rentals. The Lodge, which sleeps 8+ people, features a large yard with fire pit that is perfect for cookouts and gatherings. Enjoy the lovely screened porch, and a private walking path down to Deering Reservoir—one of New Hampshire's cleanest lakes. Great local restaurants and pubs, just one hour from the Massachusetts border.

Warm weather guests can enjoy kayaking, canoeing, swimming, fishing, hiking, and more. Bring your own boat! Just minutes from golfing, hiking trails, and historic sites. For winter fun, this home is just minutes from three ski mountains featuring over 100 ski trails, night skiing, terrain parks, tubing, etc. The lake and surrounding areas provide excellent cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Bring your snow machines!

Deep Mountain Lodge provides a very rich vacation experience without the commute, traffic jams, or lines of the Lakes Region and White Mountains. Seasonal rentals are also available. Please contact us for more information.

Perfect place for a fall weekend getaway! The kids went fishing on the dock, we played boardgames, and we used the corn hole set outside. The fire pit looked great even though we couldn't use it this time (statewide fire ban due to a drought). The hosts left everything we needed for breakfast the next day as well as some drinks - such a great surprise. Already thinking about booking our stay for next year!

We thoroughly enjoyed our return trip to this Log Home in Deering! It proved to be another amazing week which started off with the goodies left in the fridge and on the counter by these most thoughtful owners! Breakfast would have been all set for us with their thoughtful purchases. With comfortable beds, incredible neighbors, amazing firepit, easy accessible waterfront, and all the amenities you could want, this home is perfect for getways with your family! We can't speak highly enough about our stay here! Thank you, and we cannot wait to come back!

We enjoyed a quick summer getaway at this lake house. The home was clean and well-maintained, and the stocked fridge was a nice surprise. The house could use more lighting inside—it felt a bit dark at times.The property is right across the street from the path to the lake, which I hadn’t realized beforehand. The floating dock was a great feature, and the beach area felt private. The lake side was mostly shady during the day, but the dock stayed sunny through the afternoon.The family staying at the house next to the beach was friendly and helpful. The town itself is very small with limited activities, but we did find a charming ice cream shop that was worth the visit.

Great getaway

Wonderful well kept home with a lovely screened in porch. Great for morning coffee and relaxing! Nice backyard with a fire pit, picnic table and games. A short walk to the water, which was awesome! The lake was clean and refreshing! We made use of the kayaks and saw many loons with their young! Definitely recommend this place!

Rejuvenating getaway

The lodge provided our family with a comfortable and relaxing long weekend away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The property manager was responsive to our questions before and during our stay. The furnishings in the lodge were comfortable, and all essentials were provided. We enjoyed playing cornhole and roasting marshmallows in the backyard, and on the one rainy day of our trip, we made good use of the board games provided. The short walk to the lake is a bit steep -- but worth it! We all enjoyed boating and fishing and sunning. The drive to grocery stores and restaurants is only 10-15 minutes.

Great 4th of July getaway!

Our family had a great 6 day stay! Arrived to a surprise of some breakfast essentials, chocolate chip cookies, and beverages. House was immaculate and stocked with every essential we could have possibly needed. Our first night we noticed the grill wasn’t in good shape and we were apprehensive to use it. I contacted Tom, he answered immediately and within an hour he pulled up with a brand new grill for us. What a great host !We enjoyed days in the water, kayaking, fishing (caught and released a ton of fish) and swimming. Nights by the fire and the large screened in porch was bonus to hang and play games. Even caught 2 nights of fireworks displays from neighbors on the lake for 4th of July. Great place! Great host! Great vacation!

3 days at the cabin

We had a nice stay in this beautiful cabin. The hosts were extremely receptive and responded to all my questions. The house was beautiful and they left us some treats in the fridge! Thank you!! We brought our dogs so we were looking for a private place where we could let them off leash and not bother anyone else! It was nice to have access to the lake! We brought our tubes down and the dogs and jumped off the dock. I do wish we had a beach area but that’s ok! It was clearly stated we had a dock! Not much to do around the Deering area but if you’re looking for quiet and private this is your place! The house is absolutely beautiful! We loved the screened in porch and had a fire in the evenings around the firepit! It was a great opportunity to escape the grind and relax with my family! A plus I got to include our dogs!

Great time

Wonderful Log House in the woods of NH.Immaculately clean, air-conditioned throughout the house. It has everything you need. The hosts were very helpful and easy to communicate with. The lake is beautiful, quiet, with clear water perfect for swimming, and access to the water is easy via a nice and sturdy aluminum dock. We would like to mention a somewhat surprising sight that we encountered when we walked into the house. On the kitchen table, we found a large vase filled with fruits and a plate of fresh muffins and cookies. Additionally, the refrigerator was stocked with provisions, including a bottle of Prosecco and a case of local New Hampshire beer.What a treat!!! Do not bring any kitchenware with you. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you will need. One thing that needs an upgrade is the grill outside. The heat reflectors are all burned through, making it difficult to control the heat. The house is deep in the woods, so watch out for mosquitoes!Our family (five adults and a three-year-old child) loved the four nights we spent in that place during the hot summer days in NH, and we recommend it without any reservations.

We loved our stay at this property. Cabin was perfect for us. Kitchen was fabulous, air conditioning in each room, so comfortable. Outdoor area with fire pit and picnic tables was great. Host was super responsive to our needs.

Beautiful house with Lake access .

Wonderful 3 night stay in this beautiful log home. Access to the lake, dock and kayaks was a bonus. We had a blast on the lake and did a good amount of fishing. We will definitely be back!

Quiet get-away

This property is tucked in woods in a very quiet neighborhood. It is heavily wooded (more-so than the pictures really indicate so there is not much sunlight that makes its way the house and the bedrooms are a little dark as a result). The house was clean and comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed for meals. Communication with the property manager was easy and prompt and they even left some very nice welcome treats. The grill has seen better days as have the stairs leading up to the property which may be a little tricky to maneuver for older visitors- but that didn't hinder our enjoyment of our time there. The access to lake was very nice - our daughter (and our dog) enjoyed swimming to the floating dock and we really enjoyed kayaking around the lake and exploring some of the local trails. Overall a nice get-away!

Great fishing!

My husband and boys absolutely loved the bass fishing on this lake. The neighbors were super friendly and let us plug in our boat for the week so we didn’t have to use portable power for the trolling motor.

Delightful Stay in Deering

The cabin was absolutely gorgeous and well equipped! My adult children loved playing in the lake, and I had a great time cooking for all. The goodies left in the fridge were a really nice touch. We’d love to come again, if our schedules all can accommodate another visit!
