'This was my 3rd or 4th stay at Hampton Inn Farmington. The amenities are great. A quality breakfast included with a fair number of options and the gym, pool and hot tub are nice. However, the hotel seems to target children's birthday parties and traveling sports teams. The lobby is boisterous and overrun with loud and rowdy unsupervised children and teens. If you want a peaceful stay, choose another hotel.'

'This hotel was convenient for me as I had business in the immediate area. Overall a great stay but I will say the breakfast was disappointing. There was no 'real' tea such as an English breakfast tea that is black and caffinated. I don't drink coffee.'

'This is a truly lovely property. The grounds are exquisite and include a 75' lap pool and lovely patio and area for artist retreats. Nice robes, comfy linens, a fabulous shower. Fireplace that throws a good amount of heat and easy to use air conditioning. Good instruction book. Some small details were overlooked--a nice coffee nook to make tea or coffee but no water available to use or drink.'

'Rooms are on the newer side. Free parking. We got two of the same type room next to each other, one of them is way bigger than the other one. They are both spacious rooms though. The blinds are amazing if you want to sleep in. Traffic noise is pretty loud if you are sensitive. It’s one of those standard Hempton Inn near highway. Okay cleanliness. I don’t really get the other comments talking about how great the breakfast, it is a little better than the hotel only provides muffin, cereals and...

'I hate to say it but the sister property in Avon can’t even compare to this location. I was so disappointed with the Avon location that I amazed to find out that this was a sister property. The instant I walked in the door, Matt was amazing, the rooms are quaint and clean, and the restaurant along with the staff like Kelly, put an exclamation point on the property. The restaurant is the gem of the entire hotel. When locals fill the restaurant on a Tuesday night it speaks volumes. I will be back...
