'I booked in for one night to go to a local event. The room was clean enough for an overnight stay. The staff left a fan in the room which was handy with how warm the night time was. Parking was on the road outside which was safe enough.'

'You have to have reservations for the dining room. No breakfast, but the pub across the street has a good breakfast. Quiet comfortable hotel. No elevator.'

'Clean comfortable guest house. Note it has a shared bathroom and toilets . Plenty of facilities kettle and tea in room and kitchen. Shared use of full kitchen. It was the days of the heatwave so uncomfortable only because of that. Bed very comfortable clean linen and towels. All guests were very in tune with quiet period 10 pm to 8 am. I was aid for street parking through guest house arrived early and managed to park directly outside.'

'I stayed at this for a few days of peace and quiet and not sure I could find a better place. The whole establishment was clean and a nice balance between retro and modern, which made it homely but also very comfortable. I stayed in one of the top floor rooms with new Veluxes, a shower with excellent hot water and comfortable towels. Breakfasts are delicious and well worth the price inclusion, and any issues I had were quickly sorted by the staff. If you're thinking of staying here, you can't go...

Negative, the window did not close. No breakfast. Light from hallway shines through cracks in door. No one around during day time, one has to walk to the "mother house" to have contact with a person.'

'Take care about what type of room you book! They don't make this clear on their website, but... We booked two rooms for quite some money and when we arrived it turned out that we had to share a bathroom with the whole floor! by the way, this bathroom had a carpet?! Very nasty if many people use the shower in one morning... Rooms are small and windows can not open. which makes the place smell like grandmothers attic...'
