'The property was cold and the device to set the temperature seemed to be out of battery. It was somewhat hard to find, and when we entered there was a vacuum cleaner sitting in the hallway. Parking can be hard to find, and the owners' emails seemed to be automatic and not responsive.'

'Stunning location and beautiful home. The apartment was very well equipped, comfortable and warm. Two lovely sized bedrooms, one smaller double, but with adequate space. All three rooms have en-suites which is great, with an amazing spacious kitchen/ family room. Thought parking for two cars might be an issue, but we always found spaces. The location is perfect for some great walks. It is about 20 minutes drive from the local shops, the pub is closer, within walking distance if you want to go...

'We spent 2 weeks in September, my husband and I and a further guest, who stayed for 10 days. We were very satisfied with the apartment, which was situated in a quiet cul-de-sac with a lovely view of the countryside from the lounge. Buxton was in walking distance (15 minutes). The apartment was nice and warm and the kitchen was well stocked, which included a generous deep freeze compartment. What we also liked was the fact that there was a space to park the car off road.
