My group of friends had a great time here! It ended up being the perfect amount of space for the 4 of us! We even made some chicken and potatoes and enjoyed playing games the whole night. Loooove the shower haha.
This property was coincidentally within 2 blocks of my family. We originally just looked for something in Hewitt to be nearby, and we ended up in walking distance. So that part is probably more unique to us than any other guests. We absolutely took advantage of the pool while we were there. And being desert babies in the TX humidity, we were especially grateful to relax in the water. Richelle was very communicative, always answering very quickly whenever we had a question. Everything was clean and orderly when we arrived with plenty of towels for our group. Would have loved a teapot, but water boils just as easily in a pot on the stove. A couple more places to hang up clothes would be helpful, but not a deal breaker in my book. I did not recall from the listing (it could have been stated, but I didnât realized) so please note that the smaller beds are up some very steep stairs. This altered our sleeping arrangements since my 78-yr mother would not be able to navigate them. But we managed just fine.My only complaint was with the VRBO booking system and final payment. I thought that my final payment would be automatically charged, and I missed the email reminders because everything was going to spam. I had to whitelist the VRBO notices a couple of times before they stopped getting stuck in the junk folder. And luckily, our host was patient and allowed us a little more time to pay.
Just wanted to add to the listing. This is a shared space with the host. Host feels that this information doesnât need to be disclosed on the listing, but that a guest should ask if it is. You will be staying in a âcottageâ in the host backyard. I will attach a picture of the âcottageâ so you will be able to see that you are not staying in a house or at the very least a place that isnât shared. Please, if you feel like you have a question you think would be to stupid to ask because you wouldnât think you would have to ask it, please do! Also, if you pull up and the hosts garage door is open, just know she will tell you that you donât have to look at it, you can avert your eyes elsewhere. The hosts does have at least 5-6 dogs that she lets out outside in the backyard with pool, but donât worry she says they donât bark and she doesnât let them out if guests are out there, although I have pics of the them because they were in fact outside when we were. Make sure to check your messages, I didnât see that she messaged that her daughter whom lives in the RV in the backyard was finishing up cleaning and would be done around 5. Side note: chickens are in the backyard too. *** when listing your property, be sure to give an accurate description.
